Our ultimate aim to is to provide you with an unforgettable and stress-free experience. We hope you will maximize your visit to enjoy the services we offer.  Please read the below etiquette advice.

Etiquette Suggestions

  • Schedule your treatments in advance, as we get busy.

  • Feel free to wear loose, comfortable clothing for your appointment.

  • Your therapist will meet you and guide you to your treatment room. Once in your treatment room, your therapist will step out while you remove your clothing and climb under the towel of your treatment table. You’ll be draped for privacy at all times.

  • For your relaxation and that of our other guests, our space is a laptop and cell phone-free zone, please turn your cell phones off and leave them in your bag or guest room.

  • Our center is a quiet environment, always try to use a quiet “spa voice” when you talk.

Health Considerations

A medical questionnaire will have to be filled out before all sessions. Please be sure to notify the if you suffer from any physical ailments, or if you are pregnant. No treatment can be offered to pregnant ladies within the first 16 weeks of pregnancy and thereafter only selective treatments after a consultation.

Respect of Others

Because we are in an intimate setting, we ask that while the other guest is in their body technique session, to be mindful of respecting silence in the main area. We also ask you to respect the privacy of those who are joining us, our services can be a deeply personal journey and allowing space for each guest to go through their journey is important.

Clothing

Our retreats incorporate a combination of Ayurvedic, Yogic and body techniques. Please bring clothing appropriate for the season and the activities you intend to pursue such as lightweight natural fiber yoga clothes, suitable walking/ trekking shoes, and appropriate clothing for outdoor activities. If you are joining us during the winter months, please bring layers. Our winters are fairly mild, but occasionally in December and January temperatures can drop. Our Summer can be hot starting mid-June to August. So bring natural clothing that is breathable and lightweight if you are visiting us in these months. The other 8 months of the year are temperate and pleasant.

Communicate With Your Technician

To get the most out of your wellness treatment, communicate with your technician. Your comfort and enjoyment are important to us, so let us know if you have concerns about the depth of pressure, the temperature of your room, music volume, or other issues

Gratuities

In most centers, a 15% to 20% tip is typical for the service given. If you were given a gift certificate, ask if the gratuity was included. If you are staying for an extended wellness retreat, the staff welcomes tipping and appreciated as you see fit.
