Ayurvedic Doctor – BAMS / NAMA AD / Vaidya
Opening March 2026 – Purusha Ayurveda Panchakarma & Wellness Sanctuary
We are seeking an experienced Ayurvedic Doctor to join our founding team at our new retreat center in the Zion desert. This role offers the opportunity to practice authentic, client-centered Ayurveda in a purpose-built sanctuary, guiding guests from around the world through transformative Panchakarma and holistic healing journeys.
Our center is rooted in the classical traditions of Ayurveda and dedicated to delivering exceptional, personalized care. We are looking for a practitioner who shares our passion for depth, authenticity, and service.
Position Details
Title: Ayurvedic Doctor (BAMS, NAMA-AD, or Vaidya)
Start Date: February 2026 (for training, orientation, and pre-opening setup)
Requirements
Education & Certification:
BAMS degree, OR recognized NAMA Ayurvedic Doctor (AD) credential, OR traditionally trained Vaidya
Experience:
Minimum 5 years of hands-on clinical experience with Panchakarma treatment planning and oversight
Strong diagnostic skills using classical Ayurvedic methods (pulse, tongue, agni, ama, prakriti/vikriti assessment)
Ability to create and adapt personalized protocols for diverse client needs
Excellent communication skills and a compassionate, client-centered approach
Commitment to working collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team
Responsibilities
Conduct comprehensive Ayurvedic consultations and assessments
Design individualized Panchakarma and therapeutic programs
Oversee treatment plans and collaborate with Panchakarma Technicians to ensure accurate implementation
Provide herbal, dietary, and lifestyle guidance to guests
Maintain accurate client records in alignment with professional and ethical standards
Support ongoing education for staff in Ayurvedic principles and practice

Panchakarma Technician
We are seeking dedicated Panchakarma Technicians to join our team for the grand opening of our new retreat center in the heart of the Zion desert. This is more than a job, it’s an opportunity to practice authentic Ayurveda in a serene, purpose-built sanctuary, serving guests from around the world.
Our center specializes in authentic Panchakarma, the art and science of detoxification and rejuvenation—and offers a setting where every treatment is an act of care, intention, and ancient tradition.
Position Details
Title: Panchakarma Technician
Start Date: February 2026 (for training and onboarding)
Requirements
Minimum Certification:
Ayurvedic Health Counselor (AHC)
Panchakarma Technician Certification (NAMA-recognized program)
Strong commitment to authentic Ayurvedic practice
Physical stamina for multiple treatments per day
Warm, professional presence and a deep respect for client confidentiality
Ability to work collaboratively in a retreat environment
LMT or advanced Massage training would be a plus
Responsibilities
Administer Ayurvedic therapies including Abhyanga, Shirodhara, Swedana, Pinda Sweda, and other Panchakarma treatments following our protocols
Prepare treatment rooms, herbal oils, and therapy equipment to the highest standard
Support guests with compassionate care and grounded professionalism
Uphold the sanctuary’s atmosphere of peace, safety, and healing
