Trusted for thousands of years, Panchakarma is a profound way to restore health, preserve youthfulness, promote vitality, and awaken the body’s innate healing intelligence.
“This place absolutely changed my life and I will forever be grateful.”
Why Choose Panchakarma?
Panchakarma gently cleanses, restores balance, and awakens your body’s natural vitality from within.
What is Panchakarma?
In today’s fast-paced world, stress, poor diet, and environmental toxins can build up in the body—leading to imbalance on physical, mental, and emotional levels. According to Ayurveda, true health begins with a strong digestive fire (Agni) and regular cleansing to remove these hidden imbalances before they lead to disease.
Panchakarma is Ayurveda’s most powerful healing system for deep detoxification and holistic rejuvenation. This ancient therapy clears toxins from both the body and mind—purifying the lymphatic, digestive, circulatory, nervous, and reproductive systems. By eliminating accumulated waste (ama), Panchakarma restores your natural vitality and strengthens the body’s innate ability to heal.
“It turned out to be a richer experience than I could have imagined. The treatments were phenomenal.”

At Purusha Ayurveda, we honor the classical, authentic approach to Panchakarma through personalized care and expert guidance. Each guest begins their healing journey with a detailed consultation with our Ayurvedic Doctor to assess your unique constitution (prakruti), health history, current imbalances, and wellness goals. From there, we tailor your Panchakarma experience through the traditional three-phase process:
The Three Phases of Panchakarma
1. Purva Karma (Preparation Phase)
Techniques: Abhyanga, Swedana, and internal oleation etc.
Purpose: Mobilizes toxins from deep tissues into the GI tract, preparing the body for deeper cleansing.
2. Pradhana Karma (Main Detoxification Phase)
Techniques: Vamana, Virechana, Basti, Nasya, and in some cases Raktamokshana.
Purpose: Clears toxins, balances doshas, strengthens Agni, and removes the root cause of digestive dysfunction.
3. Paschat Karma (Rejuvenation Phase)
Protocols: Rasayana therapy, post-cleanse diet, herbal supplements, and lifestyle guidance.
Purpose: Rebuilds tissues, restores strength, and integrates the benefits of the cleanse for long-term digestive and systemic health.
To ensure the full benefit of each phase, we require a minimum 7-day commitment. This allows enough time for the body and mind to fully engage in the detox and renewal process.
Many guests report emotional release, mental clarity, and a renewed sense of self as toxins leave the system. With compassionate support and expert care throughout your stay, Panchakarma becomes more than a cleanse—it is a powerful return to balance and vitality.
